John D. Norseen

An oddball among "Military-Industrial Complex" researchers, Norseen gained a substantial degree of infamy amongst defenders of "cognitive liberty" with the article, Decoding Minds, Foiling Adversaries in the October 2001 issue of Signals magazine.

His internet published papers Mathematics, BioFusion and Reflexive Control for Sentient Machines and Images of Mind: The Semiotic Alphabet suggest an ambitious and audacious vision for the future of intelligence, though the present or near-future practical applications should be some cause for alarm to those of us who like to keep our thoughts to ourselves.

He is no longer with us, however.
